They say there goes on Edkins on his Triumph 3050. I wonder if they mean 350? Triumph 500's would be perfect for this race.
30.50 was the cubic inch designation of the 500cc machines of the day. A 650 is a BIG 40 incher! And yes, Triumph 500s (or 30.50s) are indeed perfect for this race, then and today.
